Who said that Mediterranean cuisine can’t be spicy? Come to the land of hot meals, and have a taste! This region dedicates a famous Festival to hot peppers, in the fascinating town of Diamante (which means “diamond” in English). The festival is unique: street food, history lesson, conventions about hot pepper and other foods that came from the Americas, all free, all on the street and to the sound of music.
